Alanzo was born and raised in Reading and has a real passion for the local community. He has been actively involved in making Reading a better place to live for all its residents by working with young people at play schemes, speaking at local forums, helping charities and working closely with Save the Bath Road Reservoir campaigners and Reading Elderly Befrending Scheme. Alanzo currently works for a financial firm and his business interests include providing care and financial services for vulnerable people. He is also a proud to be a governor of the first free school in Reading. He is a staunch believer in more accountable, transparent and democratic local government institutions.
Alonzo was the Conservative candidate for Battle ward in 2011 and 2012. He continues working tirelessly for Minster.
