Councillor for Kentwood

Jenny was born in Tilehurst and attended Grovelands Primary School and Alfred Sutton Girls’ School. She has lived in Reading for over 20 years and has been involved in politics since she can remember. She fought to become a councillor on several occasions and was finally elected as Councillor for Kentwood in 2006, after defeating Labour. Jenny was re-elected in 2010 and served as Deputy Mayor in 2010-2011. Currently, Jenny works in Reading for an international accountancy firm and is a proud governor at local Upcroft Primary School. She is also a Member of Arts Forum, Planning Applications Committee, Standards Committee and Traffic Management Advisory Panel.
